HomeCare · Client work

From first call to final payment.

HomeCare is a property-maintenance platform we're building for a client. It replaces a phone-and-spreadsheet dispatch process with one tracked workflow across customer, inspector and worker apps, an operations console, a public website and payments.

One tracked workflow, from a tenant's first message to the worker getting paid.

The challenge

Maintenance requests arrive by phone all day. Each one is triaged, matched to a worker, dispatched and chased to completion by hand.

The process holds at low volume, but it doesn't scale and leaves no record. Calls share no queue, so some are missed. One person decides who suits each job. Status, budgets and payments are held informally. We're building the platform that performs that whole process end to end, with full visibility and a complete record of every job.

Six surfaces, one workflow.

Customer app

Tenants submit and track requests by chat, photo, video or voice, then review the budget and approve in one tap.

Inspector app

Inspectors review each request, inspect if needed, set the budget, and assign the work.

Worker app

Skilled workers receive approved jobs, navigate to site, work through checklists, and report back with evidence.

Operations console

Central dispatch, service configuration, refunds, complaints, quality controls, promotions and reporting.

Public website

The front door: services, quotes and booking, feeding straight into the same workflow.

Payments

An integrated gateway handles checkout on completion and pays workers out, with a full audit trail.

Request lifecycle

Every job, tracked end to end.

  1. 01

    Report

The tenant submits the issue with photos, video or voice.

The inspector reviews, inspects if required, and sets a budget.

  4. 04

    Dispatch

The platform notifies a suitable worker, who accepts.

  5. 05

    Complete

The worker completes the work and submits proof.

  6. 06

    Settle

The customer is charged and the worker is paid out.
